Since 1987 TIA worldwide supplies turn-key plants for the treatment of municipal and industrial wastewater: from biological and physico-chemical purification up to recycling of wastewater for re-use. ► PLANTS FOR THE TREATMENT OF INDUSTRIAL WASTEWATER

„Custom-made“ Turn-Key Wastewater Treatment Plants, starting from pre-treatment via complete treatment of process wastewater through to recycling for internal re-use

A wide range of proceedings can be implemented in line with requirements. The focus is on operating safety, energy efficiency and cost minimization. The plants can be extended at any time.

Thanks to the TIA System Technology and the customers’ option to do some of the works like concrete building on their own, competitive investment costs can be achieved.

TIA executes the commissioning of the plant as well as personnel and management trainings, offers a considerable After-Sales-Service with procedural consulting and optimization, a reliable spare parts service and even a temporary plant management if required.

Having built more than 100 plants in almost all industry branches, TIA has gained wide experience.

► PLANTS FOR THE TREATMENT OF MUNICIPAL WASTEWATER

Plants in the well-proven TIA Compact System, designed for the treatment of municipal wastewater in the range of 2.000 up to approx. 150.000 PE (population equivalent)

A clear operating principle as well as the possibility of a plant extension is guaranteed.

Thanks to the TIA Compact System and the customers’ option to do some of the works like concrete building on their own, competitive investment costs can be achieved.

As modern technologies are used, like for example support material in the biology or lamellae separators and flotation plants, compact and highly efficient wastewater treatment plants can be constructed.

 ► BASIS PLANTS “COMPACTmini” (300 - 2.000 P.E.)

Plant components for self-assembly of a municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant in the range of 300 up to 2.000 PE (population equivalent) in the well-proven TIA Compact-System

TIA COMPACTmini can be erected and assembled completely through local (at site) companies. TIA supplies the know-how, construction plans and all plant components. Thus even smaller plants can be executed extremely cost-effective and of high quality “Made in Germany”.

TIA COMPACTmini is an ultra-modern Wastewater Treatment Plant for COD/BOD reduction and for nitrogen elimination. As a third step, a disinfection unit can be implemented so that the water can be used for sprinkling; by means of a membrane system the water becomes even potable.

This plant is ideally suited for small municipalities, as replacement or complement for pond systems, for hospitals, hotels etc.

 ► CONTAINERIZED WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANTS

For biological physico-chemical Wastewater Treatment 3 types of containers have been designed and approved as flexible and fast solutions:

BIOCON for biological wastewater treatment: BIOCON can be designed as biofilm reactor, activated sludge reactor or hybride reactor.  Secondary clarification can be effected by means of sedimentation, flotation or membrane;

FLOCON for physico-chemical treatment by means of a Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) and equipment for precipitation and flocculation;

PRECON for sieving and equalization of pH value.

TIA Container Wastewater Treatment Plants are supplied ready to be plugged and can be used at different places without efforts. The units are fitted into either 20ft or 40ft standard containers.

 ► EXTENSION AND REFURBISHMENT OF EXISTING PLANTS

Optimum extension and refurbishment of surcharged and uneconomical plants is executed with energy-efficient technology (aeration) and by means of biological growth carriers (TIA FLEXIFILM), lamellae separators, flotation plants etc.

A preliminary concept is worked out, and alternatives are agreed with the customer, taking into consideration the matter of expenses.

Thus even plants originally constructed by other companies are refurbished efficiently.

 ► T I A  FLOTATION UNITS

The TIA FLOTATION UNIT (DAF Dissolved Air Flotation) can be supplied either individually or as part of a complete Wastewater Treatment Plant. It is designed with a precipitation and flocculation reactor. Units made of stainless steel with capacities between 2 and 120 m³/h are available, either with our without lamellae technique. Units made of concrete can be realized with any required capacity.

 ► AFTER-SALES-SERVICE

All types of customer service are offered according to requirements: personnel trainings, spare parts service, procedural consulting, maintenance, plant management etc.

In foreign countries we cooperate with well-established and well-trained partners.

 ► MUNICIPAL SERVICES

Among other services, TIA offers the continuous management of wastewater treatment plants.

In foreign countries this service might be realized either by TIA personnel from Germany or by a local cooperation partner.

The plant and pump stations are maintained, laboratory sampling is made and the operating logbook is kept, be it manually or automatically by means of TIA DAR (Data Analysis Report), a program with graphic analysis, individually developed by TIA.

Thanks to clear structures and competent process observation, the operational safety is increased and operational costs are reduced considerably.

Legal regulations / obligations are fulfilled.
